Join us in January to start 2019 right with five days of Pilates, Relaxation, Fresh Air and Healthy Food in one of the UK's most beautiful regions: Cornwall.
After a month of over-indulgence during holiday festivities, what better time to reset your body and mind than in the first week of January? This retreat will focus on regeneration inside and out: plant-based meals, freshly-pressed juices, daily workouts to stretch out those muscles and align the posture with Pilates, Yoga & Barre classes, breathing that clean, country air with a breeze from the sea.

A focus on Pilates
Pilates is well known for creating a long lean toned muscles, a flat tummy and beautiful posture, but the benefits go way beyond that!
Along with the aestectic benefits it can help with easing back pain , improved bone density and boosting cardiovascular endurance. No muscle group is over trained or under trained. The discipline conditions your muscles so they are evenly balanced and conditioned, helping you enjoy daily activities and sports with greater ease, better performance and less chance of injury.
The instructors at Kalon have all been professional dancers and used Pilates as a critical part of their training regimen whilst dancing on stage.
We will offer optional Ballet Classes for all levels during this retreat, taught by our experts trained at The Royal Ballet & English National Ballet. A unique experience accessible to all our guests ! If you have never tried ballet before, do not fear ! We will take you through the paces in a fun and friendly environment.
Combining our knowledge of dance and Pilates we are able to create workouts that are suitable for everyone, whether you are an athlete, recovering from injury or simply looking to tone up and improve your posture.
On this retreat the groups will be small so we will be able to adapt to all individual needs so you will get the most out of the lessons, whether you are advanced or a complete beginner !

Private rooms, shared twin or master bed for a couple, you decide what you need and we will accommodate you.
With a total of 12 really comfy beds, there is something to love about all 5 of the spacious bedrooms – each full of light with large windows and beautiful views onto the garden and woods.
And for guests that prefer greater luxury or privacy, the bedrooms give the flexibility of single beds converting to super-kings.
The house and rooms are recently renovated to bring you the latest in comfort for a truly luxurious stay.

Kalon co-founder Emma is an ex-Royal Ballet School student, ex-professional ballerina at the Scottish Ballet & dancer at the Moulin Rouge.
Today, Emma is a qualified BASI Pilates and Barre instructor trained in Paris.
Whether you are advanced or beginner, she will take you through your paces to achieve your personal best.

Kalon co-founder Sophie is passionate about plant-based health and enjoys seeing others discover what it's all about!
An ex-professional dancer at the Lido de Paris, Sophie transitioned into corporate events management before creating Kalon, and today she travels with the business organising retreats and helping others achieve their goals in terms of health and wellness.

First soloist dancer at the English National Ballet, James will help you tone, strengthen and lengthen with his Ballet &
Body Conditioning classes.
Don't worry if you've never tried ballet before or you are not the flexible type; James will help you achieve your personal best in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
Dietician & Nutritionist
As a Registered Dietitian, Beth has experience helping people with many medical conditions as well as behaviour change.
Beth has previously worked as a Nutritionist helping people with weight loss, improving energy levels and sports performance.
Beth is qualified in BSc Community Nutrition, PGDip Dietetics and is currently undertaking MSc Dietetics.
