The Experience

Come and enhance your wellbeing with nourishing food, holistic treatments and enriching experiences in a peaceful place to retreat from the city.

Spend some time focusing on your health and wellness at this four day retreat, where the classes are designed to be supportive, fun and adapted to all fitness levels. Add to this Kalon’s unique approach which sees our team spending as much time with the guests as possible we are sure you will leave feeling refreshed and invigorated.

Tucked away at the end of a winding driveway, set in 76 acres of ancient woodland and overlooking the rolling hills and woodlands of the Limpley Stoke Valley (part of the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), your retreat centre is a real haven.

The Classes

This retreat includes two to three classes a day including, Pilates, Yoga and optional Ballet, country walks and all healthy, nutritious plant based meals. Alcohol will be included if requested at some evening meals. Massages and a full range of beauty treatments are also available at an extra cost to ensure this retreat is truly luxurious and memorable.

The Food

Enjoy healthy whole foods with a menu designed by Kalon especially for this retreat.

We strive to use organic (when possible), locally sourced plant-based foods to promote mindful eating. Kalon wholeheartedly believes that "You are what you eat", which is why you will be served only fresh, healthy, authentic and nourishing dishes during your retreat. Generous and nutritious breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served daily for you to enjoy.

The Facilities

Enjoy the indoor pool, kept at a temperature of 29° Celcius – warm enough for a relaxing dip or, if you’re feeling more energetic, an invigorating swim.Enjoy the sauna and steam rooms, or sit back and unwind on one of the five Hydrospa beds, designed to relieve muscle and joint pain with the help of water jets that target the muscles along your back and legs.

The complex boasts a beautiful newly refurbished studio which is to be used solely by Kalon for the entire retreat. The studio is spacious and versatile and will provide enticing spaces for you to eat, exercise or socialise during your stay. You will also have access to the stunning indoor pool which enjoys breathtaking views, a fully equipped gym and the extensive manor house gardens.

Retreat Coordinator 

Kalon co-founder Sophie is passionate about plant-based health and enjoys seeing others discover what it's all about!

An ex-professional dancer at the Lido de Paris, Sophie transitioned into corporate events after completing a Masters degree in Intercultural Management before creating Kalon, and today she travels with the business organising retreats and helping others achieve their goals in terms of health and wellness. 

The Team



& Body Conditioning

First soloist dancer at the English National Ballet, James will help you tone, strengthen and lengthen with his Ballet & Body Conditioning classes.

After completing a degree in Management and Leadership, James joined Kalon in 2018 to bring his unique expertise to the team.

Don't worry if you've never tried ballet before or you are not the flexible type; James will help you achieve your personal best in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.


Pilates & Yoga-Fusion Instructor

Recently retired from the West End, Alicia qualified under the ‘STOTT Pilates’ method and is thrilled to be joining the team for her first Wellness Experience with Kalon in Bath this May.


Alicia trained and honed her technique in Dance and Pilates for over a decade training vocationally at Elmhurst Ballet School. After an apprenticeship from Birmingham Royal Ballet, Alicia moved to Europe for six years to purse her Ballet career.

She danced with Ballet Dortumund, Ballet Nice Méditerranée and most notably, The Zürich Ballet.
